Renting or Buying Property

The most common website to find properties to rent or buy is through Trademe as this includes both properties managed privately and through property management companies.  There are also some Facebook groups that regularly advertise rentals and properties such as Dunedin Flatmates and Dunedin Rentals.

Other useful sources for rental listings include property managers (LJ HookerClick Property Management).  Typically leases run for 12 months fixed term, but can be negotiable.

For purchasing a property, there are other aggregator websites, such as the Property Press and Oneroof.  The Saturday edition of the Otago Daily Times also has a section dedicated to properties for sale.
