A Changing Time

Hi everyone,

While the blogging has been quiet, we have been really busy meeting people in person and hosting events, as you would have sen on our social media pages. We've met some great people and you are making some awesome connections.

However, the spread of panic and concerns for safety has meant that hosting events in the current climate is not feasible for the time being. As soon as things are looking safe to host events, we'll be back with meetups and social events.

So what do we do in this current climate of isolation and minimising mass contact with others? We try and go digital!

What does that mean? We will be trying to blog more to share ideas, and I am in the process of looking at hosting interviews and live streaming interviews with local people about settling into Dunedin. You will also see more discussions starting online to help new arrivals reach out.

Why are we doing this? As the population retracts more, people new to the city are more likely to feel isolated and unsupported. We are here for you, and we want to help!

Stay tuned, stay safe, and kia kaha!
